Dare to live loved everyday
Hello!
So simply, I’m a lover of simple and slow things. The sound of water with my journal, warm berries on buckwheat pancakes, hot herbal tea, and some golden sunlight for my camera. More recently- wild daisies.
Everyday I’m many things - a mother, wife, friend, writer, lover of God, part-time teacher.
But I land on this site mostly because of the conflict between mum and daughter. The emerging role of Mum to 5 growing daughters over the last 15 years and ironically uncovering my own sense of Daughterhood in the light of God’s grace.
For years I wrestled with my ordinary life with regular spirals into shame, not feeling good enough as a mum, wife, and especially Christian. Waking up to the nearness of God and grace has radically changed the way I think and live.
It was much later I realised that the daisy’s beauty is even more exceptional because of the wilderness she survives and flourishes in. I can look back now and see the years of shame ad wandering with God as my own wilderness growth.

Emerging Daughterhood
So here’s my handful of daughters and aren’t they divine? But you all know this is a moment and not all moments feel holy, or sacred or beautiful. I’ve since discovered it doesn’t mean they aren’t.
My new book DARING GRACE will journey you through my growing awareness to eventual found-ness in daily grace and the extravagant love of God. It’s a journey for all of us. Our children can be our holy teachers and our messy daily lives the catalyst to uncover the sacred nearness of God in not just some moments but all our moments.
